BATMAN Fan-Art Puts Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader In Greg Capullo's "Rebirth" Batsuit, Ready For THE FLASH

We recently learned that Ben Affleck is set to make his return to the DC Extended Universe in The Flash, and this badass fan-art puts his Caped Crusader in the Greg Capullo designed "Rebirth" Batsuit.

In news that shocked us all, we learned last week that Ben Affleck has signed up to return as Batman in The Flash movie. While his role is likely to be a minor one, fans are massively excited to see what it will entail, and you have to believe he's going to end up donning a brand new Batsuit.

Could it be inspired by Greg Capullo's "Rebirth" costume?

We simply don't know at this point, but based on the fan-art below, it could be the best way to go. As cool as the original DCEU design was for "Batfleck," a little bit of colour goes a long way, and this is probably the most realistic way of bringing the yellow bat symbol to the big screen.

Unfortunately, there is a chance he won't don the Batsuit again as he may simply cameo as Bruce Wayne. However, Andy Muschietti is bound to know how much fans want to see him as Batman again, so don't be surprised if he gets at least a little screentime back in action as The Dark Knight.

Check out the fan-art below:

Saw this over at Reddit. Wish he'd gone for the BVS suit instead. But there is no denying, that the Rebirth suit was truly great art design. Loved that suit.

Not gonna lie, I never cared for Affleck as Batman, but that subtle change looks so much better. Batman needs the yellow in some respect. We all know Snappyneck McGreyscale hates color though, so it was never going to happen.

@inkniron - Batman beyond don’t have yellow, Batman noir no yellow, Bruce Wayne father Batman no yellow, Batman return of dark knight no yellow, Batman no hush no yellow on chest, Batman made his first appearance in detective comics never had yellow any where

@dragon316 - Did I say he has always had yellow? Did say yellow on they logo or on the chest? Thomas and Terry were more gimmick than Batman, purposefully given alternate colorings to easily differentiate them from Bruce. Batman Noir is a weird one shot where Batman is a figment of Gordon's imagination. Oh, yes, Batman did have yellow in his first appearance.

@dragon316 - Batman always has a yellow belt starting in DC#27, through the Burton and Nolan movies & even the cromophobic show Beware the Batman kept it. The yellow logo comes & goes since the late-Golden-Age/early-Silver-Age.

Elseworlds & other Batmen, except Dick & Jean-Paul, have dropped it though.

That actually looks decent. I still hate the BvS suit but this actually makes it better.
