It's been reported that Kiersy Clemons' scenes in Justice League have been cut from the movie and while the actress hasn't said anything about that while promoting Flatliners, she does address her role as Iris West in Flashpoint (seemingly confirming that Warner Bros. isn't going to recast the role). Confirming she's received the script, the actress has made some surprising - and confusing - remarks.
Asked about how her Iris will differ to the one played by Candice Patton on the small screen, she said: "Because of going back and forth past and future with The Flash, you don't even know what time period you actually meet Iris." Wait, what? Common sense says that Flashpoint will jump all over the DC Extended Universe's timeline but what exactly do these remarks mean for the journalist's future?
Well, perhaps she's someone Barry encounters in the future as opposed to his present? It's hard to say for sure but it definitely doesn't sound like Flashpoint will tell a linear story; then again, if you've read the comic book the movie is based on, you'll know that it's far from a regular superhero tale.
