Grant Gustin Says No One Has Figured Out REVERSE-FLASH Twist
As many have suspected, it seems there's a twist concerning Harrison Wells and the Reverse-Flash. There's a TON of theories on the internet but none are correct according to Barry Allen actor Grant Gustin.
For quite a while, comic book fans refused to believe that the seemingly good-natured Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) was actually the Reverse-Flash; most still refuesed to believe after Cavanagh and the Flash showrunners confirmed that was indeed Wells in the suit when the yellow-costumed speedster made his debut on the show. Now with images of Wells wearing the suit officially released, fans are now theorizing that there's a twist coming, concerning the time-travel angle of Cavanagh's character and the true intentions of the Reverse-Flash. However, Grant Gustin says no one has figured it out yet. Speaking to CBR, he shared, "Yes. There's a twist with Harrison Wells and the Reverse-Flash storyline that no journalist has guessed -- I've never seen it online. It's going to I think really surprise everyone. And it's an original twist to the character that doesn't mess up the mythology. " He also added that the twist is not something you can figure out by reading past comic book issues, which would seem to indicate that the show will venture into uncharted territory concerning Reverse-Flash lore.
