Ryan Reynolds, the Flash and the Justice League of America

The rumors have been circulating for months now regarding the possibility of a Flash movie, and Ryan Reynolds is the man most likely to pull on the red leotard of the Fastest Man Alive. But will we first see the Flash as part of an ensemble, or on his own?

In a recent interview with MTV Movie Blogs, Reynolds was questioned about the possibility of a Flash movie, and had this to say. “‘The Flash’ isn’t dead at all. There’s talk of it being a JLA movie, the Justice League having them all together. And then there’s other talk of doing a ‘Flash’ movie with Shawn Levy.”

He was then asked whether it was likely that he would make his onscreen debut as the Flash as part of a Justice League movie, and responded saying “I don’t really know how much I’m allowed to talk about that stuff. But I’m sure they’ll figure out something. It’s no secret that they have a JLA script and it’s a project that’s in development – the contents of which, who knows. We’ll see.”

For a man not officially connected to play the role of the flash, it definitely looks clear that Reynolds will be portraying one of DC’s favorite superheroes.
