Warner Bros.' Upcoming Solo FLASH Movie May Not Actually Be Titled FLASHPOINT After All
Though the Scarlet Speedster's solo big-screen outing is still expected to adapt DC's Flashpoint comic arc, a new report indicates that it may not actually keep that title. Find out more after the jump...
Warner Bros. and Game Night directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are set to adapt - albeit, loosely - the acclaimed Flashpoint comic arc for Barry Allen's (Ezra Miller) first solo big-screen outing, but that doesn't mean they'll be going with that title for the project.
Right at the end of their report on one of the movie's writers, Dan Mazeau, adapting Ernest Cline’s Armada novel, The Hollywood Reporter mentions that Mazeau also “worked on the Warner Bros.’ Flash movie project when it was titled Flashpoint.”
This was quickly picked up by Flash fans, who quizzed THR's Borys Kit about it on Twitter:
So, what will the film be called if not Flashpoint? Kit isn't giving anything away, but this being the character's first solo film, we're thinking simply "The Flash" is a safe enough bet.
