'Gorilla Grodd' Sits On His Throne In Awesome Concept Art For THE FLASH

The Flash's first season is now over, but one highlight we'll all remember for quite some time was the episode which introduced Gorilla Grodd. Some concept art has now surfaced featuring him sitting on a throne and taking on the Scarlet Speedster in battle. Check it out!

Gorilla Grodd's small screen debut in The Flash was nothing short of incredible, but it could have been even better had they followed the concept art below (via Film Sketchr). Of course, this might give us an idea as to what we shoud expect from the character's return in season two, but we'll just have to wait and see on that. What do you guys think? The only problem I have with Grodd is that they'll most likely confine him to the sewers so that they don't blow their budget to cgi him in daylight. Aside from that I can't wait to see more of him.

Im hoping with the more viewers they will get for the second season, that should open a bit more budget for cgi. Cause idk if killer frost can carry her own weight as a main baddie

Daredevil then AOS and Flash are tied for me then Arrow. Grodd was awesome! Legends of Tomorrow looks EPIC! I can't wait!

I do think they should just say F*ck Ezra Miller and make the Flash movie a continuation of the TV show where they can do some major effects with Grodd, Killer Frost, Vibe, Wally West etc…. They can make it an epic ending to season 2 or 3! or a between seasons thing. Hell id watch it several times most likely.

That last image is phenomenal. I never even imagined seeing Grodd on the big screen - let alone TV. The Flash really exceeded my expectations of it this year. Hoping for even better next season!

@slickrickdesigns I'd like to agree with you, but I also like how DC and Marvel differ and have the cinematic and TV universe separate. Now, that's not to say I dislike how Marvel is doing it. I actually love the AOS tie ins. But I like how DC gives us different variations of the same character.

@AbhiShake & Preacher. Totally missed Preacher and crazy excited for it. and Image's Outcast. I do hear what you're saying about Ezra, I'm always willing to give actors a chance. There are so many to speculate about with the DCCU which is my concern though. I'm actually fine with Gadot, but still have a tough time swalling Affleck as Bruce Wayne. We'll see. Also, I'm concerned about the reports that they're having a hard time with continuity. It's too early to judge anything though.

When did I say I have blind faith in Ezra? He hasn't done enough work to gain my faith.
But I am giving him benifit of the doubt not bashing him, that's why I said COULD not WILL.

He could be better Flash than Gustin or could not. We haven't seen anything related to Flash movie.
