Cameras are still rolling on The Flash in Scotland, and another round of set photos offer a much closer look at the Dark Knight's new Batsuit. While we're not sure if those goggles will be part of the finished version we see on screen (the hero did don them in Justice League), this feels like a cool cross between his classic and tactical costumes.
While this movie is expected to serve as a farewell to Ben Affleck's version of the Caped Crusader, it's good to see that he'll be doing more than just catching up with Barry Allen in the Batcave.
The feeling is that Bruce Wayne and Barry connect over the loss of their parents and that Batman encourages the Flash to travel back in time to save his mother. If that leads to a Flashpoint adaptation, then it might explain the introduction of Supergirl and the return of Michael Keaton's Batman.
Obviously, we'd love to see the two "Batmen" cross paths, but it's possible this action sequence is the extent of Batfleck's role in The Flash. Either way, this looks like a badass scene, and you check out the set photos by following the links in the Tweets we've included in this post below.
Oh, and for those of you wondering, that isn't Affleck in the costume. He's currently on a yacht with Jennifer Lopez, and it's unclear whether he's actually shot any scenes for The Flash yet.
We're expecting more to be revealed at DC FanDome this October, so keep checking back here for updates.
