The actor gives a small teaser of his secret role in Marvel's upcoming THOR Movies.

Stars of Marvel's upcoming Norse extravaganza Thor, Jaimie Alexander, Anthony Hopkins, and Clark Gregg all have reported wrapping up filming for their role. So I think it's pretty safe to say filming will officially conclude by this month.

One of million mysteries for the film is actor, Colm Feore's secret role. Now speaking with The Gazette he still doesn't reveal who his character is, but teases us with how he prepares for the role.

"Marvel hasn't allowed me to say anything," says the respected 51-year-old.

"I can tell you makeup took me five hours every day, and that made for a very long day," he adds as a teaser. "But Branagh is a genius at scheduling, so it worked out fine for me."

And what about the Thor story? His gag order extends to plot lines and previews, too. "It was a lot of fun to do," he finally says. "And I imagine it's going to be huge."

DCMF: It was posted by one of CBM's very own editors, parts of a script review for Thor. It included that Balder, a famous character from the comics & real mythology, would be older in the film, than he was in the comics. And while no actor has been revealed for the role, I think Mr. Colm Feore could be that guy. What do you think?

Balder is reaching a bit. I have a feeling Feore's a villain.

Well I think a 5 hours make-up mean a creature whit not-human aspect (Giant, troll, orc...).

He maybe is going to play Grundroth (a frost giant) an Joseph Gatt is the one who play The Executoner.

PD: The other option is The Destroyer... but I dont think so XD

5 hours for mephisto redness seems just about right.

Dude if hes Balder, albeit a more older and mature Balder then I'm sold

I agree with MultiPurposePoni ...5 hours of makeup would rule out Balder....maybe he's playing a Frost Giant or another of the many villains....Mephisto could be interesting

peter fonda has already portrayed mephisto :P

@frank...thats true folks, Peter Fonda already played Mephisto. Who ever he plays Im sure will be awesome.
StuckInPanels
StuckInPanels - 5/11/2010, 5:07 PM
Also...why all the talk about Mephisto, he's a Judea-Christan mythological being, whereas Thor and the Asgardians are Nordic gods. Hela rules the underworld in their beliefs. So quit trying to put them together. Even if they fought in the comics, it wouldn't make sense here. Either Feore is Balder or Ymir...IDC aslong he looks bad ass and plays it great

@blackair- But Ghost Rider is getting rebooted soon :P

Anyway it won't be any kind of character like that, if make-up took 5 hours then it has to be some form of creature and it's a villain..

@BlackAirs87... though I don't know if people will care, since that movie suuuuuucked.. I mean, I love CBM's, but that's the only time I've wanted to walk out of a CBM.... but I stayed just cause I've already paid and I didn't have much else to do

I think me wanting to believe my anonymous source so much. five hours is pretty long. If only I knew the other characters in the movie.

I posted an article last year and I am sticking to it.
I am going to still do my best to find what character Colm Feore plays first. I saw this article and was like nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
The race is on!!!

i always thought he was going to be some sort of manifestation of Loki in the "real world" that messes with Thor after he lands on earth powerless.

but now with this make-up thing he's probably a frost giant or something

mephesto would be awesome too!

Joker1zero - 5/11/2010, 5:19 PM
Oh no, please don't be Balder. Isn't Balder supposed to be a badass warrior or something? C'mon. I could see him as a sinister villain but not a fighter.

Does anybody remember when information for Thor first started coming out one of the higher ups on the project said there was going to be a surprise Earth bound villain in the film.
StuckInPanels
StuckInPanels - 5/11/2010, 5:43 PM
@mpp, that does look interesting. I bet he could be that. They need to establish the universe in greater detail. This is looking promising, if this is true
DCMarvelFreshman
DCMarvelFreshman - 5/11/2010, 5:45 PM
@MPP you really think so? It seems kinda weird they would do that. But on Baron being in present time...that would be a cool way for HYDRA to be a villain in Avengers, Captain America sequel, or a SHIELD movie. Maybe being having a younger version in Cap's movie as a Protegé or even a son of Red Skull.

But being in Thor, I think that would be stretching things, buy hey...who knows what Marvel has in store these days.

My money's on a Frost Giant
probably Loki's father!

It wouldn't take 5 hours to make
him up for Von Strucker! He's
already bald! lol
DCMarvelFreshman
DCMarvelFreshman - 5/11/2010, 5:57 PM
@MultiPurposePoni But I got to admit that Feore for Strucker is spot on casting.
StuckInPanels
StuckInPanels - 5/11/2010, 5:58 PM
@anil and DDD, I'm sure it would take him 5 hours to get into that make up because Im sure doing practical facial appliances to get all those cracks and that red eye thing would take time.

secretasianboy - 5/11/2010, 6:04 PM
just me or does he look like moff tarkin from star wars 4
StuckInPanels
StuckInPanels - 5/11/2010, 6:09 PM
@mpp, I agree with ya. Facial appliances are much trickier to apply because you have to be able to make it movable, realistic, and done properly. Even bald people have to go through appliances. Also from these pics I have seen of him...hes BALDING...not bald. So unless people have seen him with a shaved head or has a bald cap then its all speculation. I think if true then we could be seeing HYDRA as the villain or side villain for the Avengers

Very interesting find DCMF! :)

I have to say that I like MULTI's idea of him playing Von Strucker...it would definitely explain why Marvel are keeping his role so secretive although I have to admit that I find it more likely that it will be an Asgardian character! I wish it were Balder because I'd love to know why we still havent heard any casting news about that character! I'm starting to think he wont be in the movie!

ENOUGH WITH THE MEPHISTO!!!! Loki is bad guy #1, anyone else he plays is for fan service

I think MPP's idea is the most logical. I think it would be a stretch but if they were doing a crossover villian it could be Red Skull even. But even I think that's a stretch, might be fun though. Guess we're stuck speculating for a few more months.

@blackairs87 but mephisto is not satan in marvel hes only often mistaken for him. and he wasnt originally in ghost rider(comic). he was in silver surfer(comic) then thor(comic). hes more of a negative energy being, than a demon.
