Ten months away from the release of Marvel's highly anticipated
THOR, the studio is taking any open opportunity to promote the Norse God, similar to the way of
Iron Man & the sequel. And now
Empire Online has learned that..
Yes, Marvel's Norse God of Thunder will be making an appearance at Empire and the BFI's sensational three-day event, in the form of some lovely footage the second day of Movie-Con III on Saturday, around 10am.
In addition to the footage, the Director of
THOR, Kenneth Branagh will also be attending Movie-Con III to explain the process of bringing the blond-haired behemoth to life, to the attendees. In addition to this, it seems a few folks in the film with minor roles will be promoting
THOR, with Deena Trudy, who confirmed to me she'll be portraying the
Guardian Angel in the flick, tweeting...
So, though
this footage that'll be shown at Movie-Con III will most likely be the same five minute pre-visual effects trailer that mysteriously leaked last month, Marvel Studios is also fully aware of that leak and that most folks have it saved on their hardrive . So do you think they'll have the exact same footage, even with a rough edit of the entire film screened recently for Marvel Executives, or some brand spankin' new footage of
THOR in action? We'll have a full description of what will be shown on Saturday.
In the meantime,
THOR storms into theaters May 6, next summer, with Chris Hemsworth playing the Norse God of Thunder in 3D!
