Thor Trailer Attached to Tron: Legacy?

Thor Trailer Attached to Tron: Legacy?

Superhero Hype.com is reporting the tip they've received that the trailer for Kenneth Branagh's Thor will be attached to Disney's sci-fi epic, Tron: Legacy beginning on December 17th.

Opines the site, "It makes some sense being that we've yet to see a theatrical trailer for Thor following the premiere of footage at this year's Comic-Con International, and it's going to be the kick-off movie for the summer of 2011. ... Both movies are in 3D and some might remember that Disney bought Marvel in December of 2009 and they have a stake in the success of Thor even if it's being distributed and marketed by Paramount Pictures. After all, the character will be appearing in Marvel's 2012 release The Avengers, which will be released by Disney.... If a teaser trailer does emerge, it will be interesting to see what part of the footage from Comic-Con may be included in it."

Sick! I can't wait to see a Thor trailer. It'll be an epic trailer filled with epic epicness.

Although If the trailer of Thor wasn't going to be before Tron I'm sure it wouldn't stop me seeing it anyway.

i hope this movie is better than the green lantern because as much as i like the green lantern i like thor more.

@ teabag

"if i had a hammer",i think it could feature "you can't touch this" by mc hammer with slight lyric changes.

"you can't pick this up,stop....hammer time". :D

Yeah, I definitely see this happening. I'm guessing that it'll just be a shortened version of what was shown at Comic Con because the majority of people won't gave seen any of that yet. A few new scenes would be nice though...more Loki for example!

i agree,i'm hoping to see some actual thor vs destroyer action as little as five seconds will do me.

thor flying & test of strength scenes are welcome as well.

I don't think it'll be a rehash of scenes we've already seen. But if it is, I'm betting it'll still feel completely new thanks to the addition of cgi and visual effects.

Btw, SuperHeroHype SUCKS!! They don't receive even half the news that CBM reports on.

yep we heard this rumor way back when.
Even so, it's still pretty exciting!

Reason #3,006 to see Tron Legacy: THOR TRAILER!

I CAN"T WAIT!
Even if it's just a reshowing of the Comicon stuff, I would be gratified to see it on the big screen.

However they have indeed had ample time to put together a new, and hopefuly more FX laden trailer. So it's entirely possible that it will be a new one. We shall see.

Well, after having seen the ET footage of GL, even if it is the same footage of Thor we got at comicon, Marvel is sooooooooo handing DC/WB their asses.

although I'm not planning on seeing Tron, if they confirm that the trailer for THOR will be showing then I guess I'll go and see it even if it's the same foottage shown at comic con.
My excitement for seeing it on the big screen will be epic !!!!

If being attached to Tron then it should emerge on the web very soon. And the best thing with an official trailer is being able to see footage in 720p/1080p. The armors etc. will probably look a lot better in HD. As well as hearing the music, the theme song, of the movie.
