Thor: God of Thunder is a third-person action adventure written by Marvel’s lead writer for the "Thor" comic book series, Matt Fraction. The game follows Thor as he travails through the wide realm of Asgard, taking on all manner of villains with his powerful weapon, Mjolnir, in order to save the Asgardian realm. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston will lend their voice talent (as well as their visual likenesses) to the game.
On the site, Marvel promise that the Wii version of
Thor: God of Thunder will not be a simple port of the next-gen versions, but will offer its own unique look, feel and gameplay experience. Wielding Mjolnir with the systems motion controllers perhaps? The game is set to be released on May 3, 2011!
