I was never a fan of Tintin, but then that's probably because I never read or watched anything featuring him. I don't find the premise particularly appealing though, but the trailer does look like it could be pretty good.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn stars Jamie Bell, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Toby Jones, Andy Serkis, Mackenzie Crook, Tony Curran, Daniel Mays, Sebastian Roche and Gad Elmaleh and will premier in Brussels on October 22, 2011.

"Didn't Mars Needs Moms teach these people anything?"

So he should just entirely drop a movie he filmed and started animating two years ago, because a movie bombed last March?

@Catwomanlover-the eyes are most likely the actors real eyes, with the body animated around them. they did it with Polar Express and it looked pretty good

Why is it people are demanding realism from a comic book character? I grew up reading an re-reading TiTin books and watched every film they've made both animated and live action. I couldn't give a shite about this not looking real because why in the world should it? He's a comic book character and they've rendered him in the very style of Herge himself, what more do you need?

Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish, thats one hell of a writing team, 3 of the finest british talent at the moment. I'll definitely check this out now.

If you don't see the point in foreplay then you're definitely doing something wrong!

isn't foreplay like taking a "warm-up lap" around the track? u mean @tea rolls out on the track and just floors it pedal to the metal? impressive...most impressive.

I really know nothing about TIn Tin, so this movie has no value to me. I'll wait and see what everyone else says.

Valeriesghost: Tintin is comic book hero, featured in carefully created graphic masterpieces.

It´s the kind of stuff you use to educate your kids.

From a kid from the 70´s and 80´s, this is holy ground.

Think of "Young Indiana Jones Chronicles".

It was like a HUMAN hero, a european response to SUPERheroes. and it was advertised as that.

@ Hellsing
Definatly agree with you there bud. Those three are fantastice writer and this will be a great film for sure. Since Spielberg's the director and he's, rightly, called Tintin "Indiana Jones for kids" it seems only fitting that he should assemble at least Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish to write the Indy 5 script and we'll have a guaranteed epic concultion to the Indy series.
