Amazon Prime's adaptation of
The Boys, a 2006 Wildstorm/DC/Dynamite comic book series from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, currently holds an 83% Rotten Tomatoes score and was recently revealed by Nielsen to have garnered 8 million views within the first 10 days of release.
As such, the show is one of Amazon's most popular offerings with many fans anxious to see a continuation of the first season's 8-episode offering.
Taking to Instagram, star Karl Urban has revealed that he's wrapped filming on the show and that season 2 will premiere in "
mid 2020."
