If Watchmen and Justice League had a baby, it would likely be The Boys, which turned out to be one of the big success stories in the world of steaming television last year. Based on the comic written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Darick Robertson, this Amazon Studios series postulates a world in which superheroes are not only among us, but big business in corporate America as well.

The show is dark, twisted, funny and truly one of the most unique superhero shows ever presented. It was developed by Eric Kripke, the creator of the long-running CW series Supernatural, who joins us on this episode of the Voices From Krypton podcast.

Over the course of this conversation he shares what drew him to the material in the first place, the creative approach taken and the challenges of season two.
