For those of you who have read the comic you know that Lori and her baby are killed at the prison in The Walking Dead. Sarah Wayne Callies, who plays Lori on the television show of the same name, told
The Hollywood Reporter that she think Lori has to die in the show as well.
"Frank Darabont and I actually, before he was tragically and unfairly removed from the show, we used to argue about it, I argued that it was necessary to kill Lori and I feel very strongly that for all of the other deviations we may have from the comic book, killing Lori does something to Rick that is vital for the story and can’t be done any other way,” she said. While continuing on the subject she revealed that from the beginning when she was cast in the part that not only has she been okay with it but insisted that she
HAS to. She went on to add that she has played the character with her eye at the end.
The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincon, Sarah Wayne Callies, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Lori Holden, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Iron E Singleton, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, and will return on October 14, 2012.
