Where as last week's episode was downright awful, dull and meandering on the same plot lines, tonight's episode was the opposite. Sure there were still some negatives, like all the female characters are incredibly unlikable. The only female character that wasn't neurotic, and bitchy on tonight's episode was Carol, played by Melissa McBride. And we all know that was just a brief glimpse of kindness and then she'll go back to her whiny self.
I was very intrigued by Carol's gesture to Daryl though, and I wonder if the writers are going to treat Daryl as the Tyreese character from
The Walking Dead comic book. Tyreese was an ex-NFL player, he is the muscle for the group. His physicality attracts Carol, and that attraction grows to the point that the two become lovers. Is Daryl going to replace Tyreese?
