Andrew Kreisberg Comments On How ARROW and SyFy's BOOSTER GOLD Could Link Up
Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg talks about Ted Kord's role in both Arrow and his Booster Gold pilot for SyFy and also comments on whether the two shows could somehow co-exist.
In an interview with KSiteTV, Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg was quizzed about whether or not Ted Kord will make an appearance after his name was mentioned in a recent episode of the CW series. Well, as it turns out, there may be plans for him to return to the small screen in both Arrow AND the Booster Gold pilot. "Aside from the major Superman and Batman characters, DC has been really good about letting us play with their roster. We’d never say never to anybody. Kord Industries actually plays a part in my Booster Gold pilot, so, who knows. He might be on two different shows, played by two different actors." Of course, SyFy's Booster Gold pilot has been talked about for a very long time, but if it does happen, would it be possible for the two rival shows to somehow exist in the same DC Universe? "There’s always a possibility," Kreisberg teased. "There’s a line in the Booster Gold pilot where somebody says “we finally have our own hero. Not like that nut in Starling City with the hood.” I don’t know if they’re going to let me keep that line over there, if they [Syfy] actually make the pilot, but it sort of makes me smile to think that it’s the same universe."
