As the Elseworlds promo poster that debuted at the start of the week revealed, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be switching superhero identities for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, and these latest behind-the-scenes snaps give us a better look at them fully suited-up as The Flash and Green Arrow, respectively.
We're still not sure if the pair will assume one another's personas for a specific reason, or if these are actually alternate versions of the heroes, but given the premise of the 3-part event the latter is probably more likely.
Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) and Tyler Hoechlin (Superman) were also pictured shooting a scene, with The Man of Steel sporting his more classic blue and red duds this time.
The Elseworlds Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., then continues on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. with Arrow, and concludes with Supergirl on Tuesday the 11th at 8 p.m.
