THE TEAM DEALS WITH OLIVER’S DISAPPEARANCE — In the aftermath of Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) fight with Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Arsenal (Colton Haynes) continue to protect the city in the Arrow’s absence. However, after three days without hearing from Oliver, they begin to fear the worst may have happened to their friend. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to believe that Oliver could be dead until Merlyn (John Barrowman) pays the team a surprise visit. Thea (Willa Holland) suspects there is something more behind Oliver’s disappearance and asks Merlyn for a favor. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) tests a part of his new suit and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) takes up the mantle of the Black Canary. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Erik Oleson.

Yah looks like there will be a jump..

I had heard that the first 3 episodes will be a "world without arrow" type of ordeal. With other characters taking the lime light. Should be interesting.

This season has been fine. Jesus, people have way too high expectations. The beginning of season 2 was just like this.

Really can't wait to see Arsenal step up in Arrow's absence. I hope Laurel's transition feels natural enough; the producers did say she wasnt gonna be able to just go out and deal with everyone in three seconds, they said she was gonna come back really bruised and not all her punches were gonna connect. I think that will be alright

Cannot wait for this.
Incidently I've always wondered if WB would ever bring in Tom Welling for a Superman cameo on Flash or Arrow. It would be a fun,nostagic road if they did. Granted Smallville was a lot more 90210 for it's own good but it did get the ball rolling on the small screen DC hero shows.

@Tiger73 as Superman? no.... including the trinity in this entire universe negates the point of bringing the lesser known characters to TV...with exception to WW....every episode would be "Why didn't he call Batman?""Why didn't he call Superman" because they have been so over popularized (moreso Batman) in today's CBM society and society in general...HOWEVER

I do think they could do what the did with Christopher Reeve and Dean Cain on Smallville with both Justin Hartley (GA on Smallville), possibly Kyle Galner (Impulse on Smallville) and Tom Welling over time....bring them in as lesser knowns for maybe 2 episodes....have them make a fun little nod to the character that played in the past...and call it a day
