Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin And Melissa Benoist Talk Superheroics On CONAN

The stars of The CW's DCTV Universe appeared on a SDCC themed episode of Conan last night. O'Brien told Grant Gustin that The Flash's strategy of running around and getting punched is just not working.

The stars of The CW's Arrow, Flash and Supergirl were on Conan O'Brien last night and kicked off their appearance with a discussion about the difficulties of wearing superhero costumes. Check out Amell's shifty eyes when O'Brien mentions that Green Arrow is getting a new costume. As it turns out, that was just the set up for a joke but Amell did look a bit worried there, as if something that shouldn't be discussed was about to be leaked. Perhaps we'll be seeing Green Arrow in a new costume during the show's SDCC panel on Saturday. Last month, Amell confirmed a new costume was in the works, though it remains to be seen rather it will be a slight tweak to Oliver Queen's Season 4 duds or a complete overhaul.

Conan also referenced Melissa and Grant's time on Glee and asked whether there's any chance of a musical crossover between the two shows.  Unfortunately, nothing is in the works...yet.

The Flash kicks off Flashpoint on Tuesday, October 4.  Arrow season 5 premieres Wednesday, October 5.  Supergirl season 2 kicks off Monday, October 10.
