At the Paley Fest In New York, Jada Pinkett Smith, when asked, told which character she would like to have star on Gotham, "You know what? Maybe Canary, I think I would have a good time. I think I could kick tail like her. Canary and Arrow." While other members of the cast said names like Robin and Nightwing, Jada suggested Canary and Arrow would currently star in their own show, Arrow. Now as of now Gotham has nothing to do with Flash and Arrow-verse, but do you think sometime in the future we will see the two shows collide? Sound off below with your thoughts!

Gotham is an American crime television series developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters appearing in and published by DC Comics in their Batman franchise, primarily those of Detective James Gordon and Bruce Wayne. The series stars Ben McKenzie as the young Gordon. Heller is the executive producer along with Danny Cannon, who also directed the pilot. Gotham received a series order from Fox on May 5, 2014, and premiered on September 22, 2014

It would be great and would mean Bruce Wayne is 23 in the Flash newspaper, but there are way too many network politics involved for it to ever happen.

Does Arrow take place in modern day? Gotham seems to be taking place a few years in the past.

Not going to happen. Oliver I believe is a year younger then Bruce and Dinah is two years younger then Oliver. Robert and Laura Queen though could show up, but Green Arrow is still a kid.

Knowing this show they'll have an 8 year old Ollie running around in a green hoodie shooting arrows and a young Canary wearing leather and screaming at the top of her lungs.

@ruadh

Gotham takes place in modern day but like Batman TAS they wanted to keep it timeless, that's why there's cellphones yet everyone drives 70's cars and wears an older style of clothing.

Thanks guys. Gotham seems to take place ten years or so ago. They purposely used older computers and cell phones.

Definitely won't have Gotham exist in the same universe as Arrow and Flash, it's been said before.

Gotham will be long cancelled before CW would be willing to crossover with another network.
