LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 3 Poster Points To A Big Change For The Team

Legends of Tomorrow's Brandon Routh has shared the first piece of artwork for the show's upcoming third season and it points to a pretty significant change for at least one member of the team...

Season two of Legends of Tomorrow was a lot of fun even if it didn't make the best use of Reverse-Flash and his Legion of Doom. Introducing new characters and some great mysteries, the show has come on leaps and bounds since its first year and it returns to The CW for season three this fall.

Now, Brandon Routh (The Atom) has taken to Twitter to share a first look at the poster for season three and while it obviously doesn't feature any new additions to the team, it's a very cool teaser.

Perhaps the biggest talking point, though, is the fact that Firestorm and
Dr. Martin Stein are standing apart. Does this mean big changes are coming to Legends of Tomorrow? Splitting the two up and giving Jax a new partner would certainly be interesting but it's more likely that whoever created this just wanted to include every cast member and didn't really give this apparent mistake much thought!

That isnt a big leak of the characters, that just there to show to two actors separate.

@MexicanCipher - exactly. The season 2 bluray cover was the same.

So glad that Rip is back.
And I'm loving this team. Kinda wish they added an archer though *cough*Roy*cough*

Also, Amaya's soooooo damn fine
CaptainElrond
CaptainElrond - 5/26/2017, 1:35 AM
@Himura - Nah, no archers. Archers are kinda stupid to be honest. Keep it in arrow.
Himura
Himura - 5/26/2017, 1:39 AM
@MexicanCipher - But they tend to have super kung-fu moves. Sara is currently the only one who can kick ass without powers.
CaptainElrond
CaptainElrond - 5/26/2017, 1:40 AM
@Himura - True, But sara is more of a leader, esponiage things. I always found it stupid how many people use bows in the arrowverse. I mean, a machine gun can kill 20 people in seconds.

Besides we just got merlyn in the legion (and even he barely used his bow)

@Himura - Not to say anything bad about archery characters, but Roy won't be playing a major role in any of these shows in the forseeable future. The actor apparently has anxiety issues which is why he left Arrow to begin with.

Yes! VIXEN! Me and the wife agree that Steel and Vixen are the best characters on this show.

Ffs just give Atom his proper suit! They've been talking up a new version for like 2 years now!

I have NEVER enjoyed this "bargain bin Iron Man" the CW produced, but love Routh in the role.

That's just old photos huaudhauhd Steel is not in costume (why not use him in costume?), Vixen is there, and Martin Stein is there because we have Victor Garber in the cast and he's a great actor.

What up with Sarah's hairline on this photoshit poster? Is she doing a Tibetan monk kinda haircut this next season?
Battabing
Battabing - 5/26/2017, 11:32 AM
That's quite a reach Josh. It's a poster showing all of the cast members. There's no big conspiracy.

Yea, Stein and firestorm are always separate on the posters...

How the heck is this news. Every promotional poster has the two ACTORS separate. Yes on screen they merge to become one person, but the role of Firestorm is played by two people, hence the need to showcase the two actors on promotional material
California

@megabatfan - You're missing the point. The "big change" is Sarah's enlarged forehead.
megabatfan
megabatfan - 5/29/2017, 10:35 AM
@California - LMAO!!! Finally a new character. The Show-runners did say they'd be rotating the roster every season. I was under the impression it would have been an entirely new team of Legends, but apparently they're just mixing and matching a couple team members and keeping the core cast. So I'm hoping they actually change up the cast a bit next season
