New Look At GLEE's Melissa Benoist In Full Costume As CBS' SUPERGIRL

A new BTS image has surfaced which gives us a new look at the Supergirl costumes and the colours it will incorporate. Though it may have looked quite dark and drab in those first official images.

Well, that looks pretty cool, don't you think? Melissa Benoist certainly looks the part, and the costume isn't quite as muted looking - the red certainly looks brighter - as the first official images indicated. The cast of Supergirl also includes Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy Olsen), Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant), Chyler Leigh (Alexandra “Alex” Danvers), David Harewood (Hank Henshaw), Faran Tahir (The Commander), Malina Weissman (Young Kara), Owain Yeoman (Vartox), Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Any costume looks different from a crappy photograph rather than when its beautiful shot with cinematography.

Why is the "S" not the same shade of bright red as the skirt and cape appear to be? But yes it's a Supergirl outfit.

@Comicsbornandbred Hes not dark nor was he dark in that movie. Wtf are you smoking? Kal has constantly been put in extreme overbearing circumstances. Thats why hes SUPERMAN for [frick]s sake. Hes a bright guy in a dark world. Nothing new in Superman since the 80s. Cry.

People who bitch about suits are shallow and superficial people. They don't know what's the story or the context, they just keep bitching.

Daredevil is finally an amazing series by Marvel and I am loving it but few Marvel Fanboys still bitching about the suit, regardless of how good the characterisation is done, how good the tone is set, how good the writing is.

I think that's a good thing. (Although I think she's a beautiful young lady.)

Every superhero doesn't need to be really, really ridiculously good looking. Besides there's already enough of them.

Why can't more superheroes be played by average/normal looking actors?? Personally, I'd rather acting skills/talent supersede looks/sex appeal more. I mean in general, I can't speak to her acting because I haven't seen her in anything.

Also as for the "dark colors". It's a photo taken with a cell phone. Not a damn photo shoot with proper lighting.
