Barry Will Turn To VIBE And KID FLASH To Help Save Iris From Savitar

Are Kid Flash and Vibe enough to stop a God of Speed? Grant Gustin's Barry Allen is definitely hoping that's enough firepower according to showrunner Aaron Helbing. Surely Jay Garrick will lend a hand as well.

The Flash showrunner Aaron Helbing says Barry will be absolutely desperate to avert the future he glimpsed where Savitar kills Iris.  "Obviously Barry loves Iris more than anything, and now that he has gotten a glimpse of the future, the thrust of the back half of the season is Barry trying to do whatever it takes to save her."  Helbing also tells TV Line that Flash will receive "critical assists" from Kid Flash and Cisco aka Vibe.  However, it's probably safe to assume that he'll also get some help from Jay Garrick and Jesse Quick as well.  Hopefully there's an awesome group shot of Barry, Jay, KF and Jesse speeding through Central City for an epic Speed Force team-up.

Also, in terms of Savitar's dire prophecy, Hellbing warned that fans shouldn't take his warning so literally.  "The future is malleable.  Anything can happen."  Yeah, that especially true when you already know what's going to happen.  Hopefully, season 3 ends with Barry losing his ability to use the Speed Force to take so many trips to the past and/or the future.  Otherwise, one has to wonder why the Legends of Tomorrow team doesn't consider him a time criminal and take him down?

The Flash season 3 returns from midseason hiatus on Tuesday, January 24 at 8/7c on The CW.

The only thing that I want to see for Season 4 is a crossover with the DCEU's Flash, Ezra Miller and Smallville's Impulse like in this trailer
