THE FLASH TV Series Reveals How Oliver Queen Returns And Confirms New Multiverse In Latest Episode - SPOILERS

In last night's episode of The Flash, Stephen Amell made his long-awaited return as Green Arrow.

That came after Wally West was attacked by Bloodwork and manipulated into helping the villain tap into the Multiverse. Kid-Flash, no longer in his right mind, kills Barry Allen, with the hero later waking up on an island where he's reunited with Oliver Queen as The Spectre.

Explaining that he's created a new Multiverse, the all-powerful being confirms Red Death hailed from one of those worlds rather than a different timeline. Bloodwork plans to infect every reality through Wally, and only the Fastest Man Alive can stop him.

However, the guilt he feels for Ollie's death during Crisis on Infinite Earths (not to mention various other past events) is holding him back, but The Spectre forgives his old friend. After a quick pep talk, both the Scarlet Speedster and Green Arrow are back in the land of the living and ready to deal with Bloodwork.

Joined by Diggle, they overcome the baddie and Oliver is able to reunite with John. He tells him that turning down the Green Lantern ring was the right decision because he can now remain with his family where he belongs. They finally get a proper goodbye before Green Arrow realises it's time to return to the afterlife.

After an emotional conversation between Barry and Oliver, we once again bid farewell to the Emerald Archer just weeks before the Arrowverse reaches its end.

While he's no longer among the living, we know from Arrow that the hero is eventually reunited with Felicity Smoak for his happy ending!
