THE FLASH TV Series Reveals How Oliver Queen Returns And Confirms New Multiverse In Latest Episode - SPOILERS

The latest episode of The Flash - titled "It's My Party and I'll Die If I Want To" - saw Stephen Amell reprise the role of Green Arrow, and along the way, we learned more about the Multiverse's return!

In last night's episode of The Flash, Stephen Amell made his long-awaited return as Green Arrow.

That came after Wally West was attacked by Bloodwork and manipulated into helping the villain tap into the Multiverse. Kid-Flash, no longer in his right mind, kills Barry Allen, with the hero later waking up on an island where he's reunited with Oliver Queen as The Spectre.

Explaining that he's created a new Multiverse, the all-powerful being confirms Red Death hailed from one of those worlds rather than a different timeline. Bloodwork plans to infect every reality through Wally, and only the Fastest Man Alive can stop him.

However, the guilt he feels for Ollie's death during Crisis on Infinite Earths (not to mention various other past events) is holding him back, but The Spectre forgives his old friend. After a quick pep talk, both the Scarlet Speedster and Green Arrow are back in the land of the living and ready to deal with Bloodwork.

Joined by Diggle, they overcome the baddie and Oliver is able to reunite with John. He tells him that turning down the Green Lantern ring was the right decision because he can now remain with his family where he belongs. They finally get a proper goodbye before Green Arrow realises it's time to return to the afterlife.

After an emotional conversation between Barry and Oliver, we once again bid farewell to the Emerald Archer just weeks before the Arrowverse reaches its end.

While he's no longer among the living, we know from Arrow that the hero is eventually reunited with Felicity Smoak for his happy ending!

Watched maybe an episode or two all season but I had to tune into this. Didnt care if I skipped so many episodes, didnt seem like I missed much.

But all the Green Arrow/Ollie stuff was fantastic. Really made me miss the show, him, and made me realize the Arrowverse is finally coming to an end after so many years.

I'm a few seasons behind. Wtf is this new multiverse all about? It sound like the Dark Multiverse if Red Death is from it.

Can't help but wonder if there's some set-up between this and The Flash movie. It's said that Barry creates the multiverse in the Flash movie, but in order to so so there has to be no multiverse to begin with.

So maybe the Flash TV show ends with only one universe and it's the DCEU.

@ObserverIO - In the show there has always been a multiverse, all DC shows and movies are in it. I don't know where you are in the show but it sounds like you haven't watched the Infinite Crisis cross-over event yet. I don't want to spoil it for you but answers are in that story and explains the movie connections to Ezra's Flash. Then I would suggest dropping the show after that event and maybe skip to this Arrow return episode. Show takes a massive dive in quality around then and never recovers. If you don't care about spoilers just let me know and I'll tell you.

@WarMonkey - Yeah I saw Crisis (and I did drop it after that, which is why I'm catching up now). But this episode has a second multiverse? That's the part I don't get.

I don't mind spoilers though if you know what this second multiverse is about.

Is it a replacement multiverse, like overwriting the multiverse with a new one or is it like actually a new multiverse, like a multiverse next door or something?

@ObserverIO - Oh ok. This multi-verse is just a new one that the Spectre has created. Was only one after Crises where some merged but now we are finding out Arrow rebuilt it behind the scenes. So basically all this is his fault now lol

@WarMonkey - So it's the same one that was created after Crisis. I think I read the article wrong because I thought there were two multiverses all of a sudden. Lol. But Spectre's just telling him what he did after Crisis.

I still think Grant Gustin plays a better and more Likable Barry Allen/Flash.

I have no idea what's going on with Flash currently, but I might just watch this episode. Always fun to see Stephen Amell show up again. Wonder if the last four have some cameos as well.

As for the new multiverse, and combining this with The Flash's multiverse, I kinda wanna see an Infinite Crisis movie with just the Arrowverse and old DCEU characters.
