THE FLASH Villain Black Flash Will Make His Presence Felt In The DC TV Universe In A Big Way This Year

First teased in the season two finale of The Flash, it has been confirmed that The Black Flash is coming to The CW series, but it doesn't sound like it will be Teddy Sears wearing the speedster's suit!

Season three of The Flash has already introduced us to Savitar, Kid-Flash, and Jesse Quick, but at least one more speedster is on the way this year! However, based on comments from showrunner Andrew Kreisberg, that's not the only series the Grim Reaper of the DC TV Universe will make his presence felt in. Could it be that he's coming for the recently resurrected Reverse-Flash in Legends of Tomorrow

"I will say that you might be seeing him on multiple shows," he teased at the Television Critics' Association's Winter Press Tour today. It was at the end of season two that we saw Earth-2's Hunter Zolomon/Zoom transformed into The Black Flash, but Teddy Sears may not be the one who plays him!

That's because the actor has landed a role on 24: Legacy, and it sounds like the DC TV Universe is going to need a lot of the villain. "He’s a classic character. We have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him around. There’s something so scary about him, something even scarier than when he was just the
man, because now it’s now he is the Grim Reaper, he is the devil. How do you stop the devil? So it presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears."

Who are you guys most excited to see The Black Flash target? Let us know in the usual place...

@CuddlyCereal - It is a metaphor for life, Cuddly, my friend. Your greatest enemy is always the worst version of yourself.

In your case, ReclusiveOatmeal.

Cool news Teddy Sears was awesome as Zoom. Even though he would have been a good a Jay Garrick the Alex Ross version. I hope they can get him to play Black Flash his acting was good too in the second season of the Flash

@CuddlyCereal it used to be a "kill the villain of the week" show and if the creative minds think well shit that's not working so the next best thing for our hero to face is his own power I say go for it

I liked Teddy Sears on the show, and would have been nice to see him return.

Just watched War on Everyone, was kind of bored by it and didn't find it funny, shame as the trailers looked good.
Normally I like dark and un-PC humour but it didn't work for me.

On the plus side, Tessa Thompson looked amazing in it.

My guess is that he'll return on Legends Of Tomorrow. Think about it. Time Travel. Consequences of time travel. time abberation or whatever. Black Flash. He'll either return to kick legends butt or legion of dooms butt since they all are [fricking] with the timeline.
