CW's 'The Flash' undeniably had a long list of side characters/rogues included on their long lived show, so much so that within one of the past "graphic novels" this past final season of the show, the title of one out of the two storylines was titled "Rogue War", mostly revolving around the rogue side characters assisting The Scarlett Speedster in a fight against the Red Death and their own army of rogues.
The show brought back a number of past familiar faces whom they believed could be pitted against some pretty bad guys, however, they did not bring back all of them, as a previous actress who played one of those characters is now speaking out on her "disappointment" regarding her absence in the final season. 'Katee Sackhoff', who many of you may remember as playing the meta-human "Amunet Black" since the shows fourth season, was asked in an interview how she felt regarding her characters absence for the ninth and final season of 'The Flash':
You know what – a lot of people love that character in 'The Flash.' I was really disappointed that I didn’t get to go back and actually reprise that role. Obviously, someone over there didn’t like me that much, because I did everything short of get down on bended knee. So, they did not want my character back again. So, I tried!” - Katee Sackhoff
Sackhoff mentions that there are viewers of the show that are not too big and cheery when her character shows up on screen, which only added insult to injury upon her absence in the final season of the show. While Sackhoff's character had not been seen on screen since the shows sixth season, in the episode, "Love Is A Battlefield", her character had been brought up and referred back to a few moments since then, credited by the characters "lover" 'Goldface', who was in fact an integral part of this past seasons "Rogue War" storyline.
Should Amunet Black have been brought back one more time in 'The Flash' Season 9?
