Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Drogon looks good. Still hate Clarke and Harington in the roles they fill.

Unlikely. Give me confirmation otherwise that's your pet theory. In the books, only two (nearly three) years have passed since the beginning of AGOT.

CBM - The only place on the internet where people still think it's trendy to 'first'. How embarrassing lol.

Oh yes how terribly irrational of me, being dubious over your claim given that it isn't that way in the books which is the superior authority for anything A Song of Ice and Fire/GRRM's world related whatsoever.

No shit the children grow up and look different from how they did in 2011 though it doesn't make it an absolute necessary for them [frick] with the timeline from 2 (night 3) years to something much longer. D&D contradict themselves and write stupid plenty enough, so thinking they they wouldn't consider the age and years is hardly some abstractly foolish thought.

Give me the link or be silent on this issue.

Drogon looks great! Sadly he also reminds of how Jackson and Co decided to steal Smaug two of his limbs... :(

Another reason to love Game Of Thrones....

All those foreign languages created for the show?

A couple of the series' writers admitted that there are translated Monty Python jokes scattered throughout the show.

Chloefornication is right. This is common knowledge. You're the one who is out of the loop, and to top it off you're acting like an asshole about it.

@Chloefornication

You've provided no evidence for your claim and with nothing in the television series to suggest it other than the child actors aging (and plenty of other series ignore the child's age) it is perfectly logical to conclude the time span is the same as the source material. Pft, "implied". I could easily make some argument every bit as arbitrary as yours. Give the link or some in universe evidence. If not, be silent on this matter.

@LordHuck

Common knowledge? To whom? The D&D fanatics? A link if you will.

[frick] you, look it up yourself. No one here is your servant.

Additionally I'm not going to take time out of my day to paste a link in here supporting that clouds are in fact real.
