Relive The Epic GAME OF THRONES Season Six Finale With These Featurettes & Photos
After six long, long years... winter has finally arrived! and in glorious fashion, no less! Come discuss the epic finale here and also, check out four new featurettes and a ton of photos too! Updated!
R + L = J
In a jam-packed finale, filled with tragedy and triumph, the biggest win of them all came near the end of the hour when Bran finally discovered the truth about what laid within the walls of the Tower of Joy and we finally learned the truth behind Jon Snow... or shall we say, Jon Targaryen's parentage. Yes, as many have speculated over the years, Jon's true mother and father were no other than Lyanna Stark & Rhaegar Targaryen, which would make him not just the King in the North, but the true King everyone's been seeking and rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
However, judging by everything we know about Jon, the Iron Throne is the least of his concerns, especially with the extinction-level threat of the White Walkers closing in. Luckily for him, his aunt Daenerys is on her way with Tyrion, the Unsullied, a Dothraki horde, the Greyjoys, a fleet of ships, and of course, those monstrous dragons of hers. But, whether or not she joins Jon or solely carries out her plan to reclaim the throne from the despicable Cersei is yet-to-be seen. Regardless, the countdown for season seven has officially begun.
Check out four featurettes from tonight's stellar finale below:
Plus, here are a ton of photos from the finale (Updated with more photos in hi-res!):
So, what did you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below!
Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.
It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'
An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.
