I'm sorry... [frick] that, I'm not sorry! lol Prometheus WAS the best sci-fi flick of 2012!! :D And it's visuals, make-up and acting were all truly astonishing.

I'm just maintaining my utmost faith that the sequel will deliver twice as hard!

@NegroMan

I enjoyed Promotheus, but you have to admit these characters were some of the most dumbest people ever assembled on an expedition. Fassbender was great in this movie though.

@TheBlackMan I enjoyed Prometheus but the story was just so convoluted and the characters made so many stupid decisions! And we all know Looper was the best sci-fi movie of 2012

Yeah, Prometheus truly were great looking. Avengers had some nice effects also. So did Planet of The Apes, Cloud Atlas, John Carter and the Hobbit (1).

But the prize goes to the "best" sci-fi/fantasy, and yeah Game of Thrones is great fantasy.

This year, the competition should increase, right? Star Trek (2), World War Z, Oblivion, GoT, Hobbit 2, Elysium, Pacific Rim, Gravity etc.

Not sure if the CBMs this year; Wolverine/Thor2/IM3/MoS really has a chance.

If the actually GOOD episodes of Doctor Who were nominated we would have won.
Asylum of the Daleks
The Angels take Manhattan
The Snowmen
Really? The best episodes of series 7 were:
The Rings of Akhaten
The Name of the Doctor
Cold War

Best Dramatic Presentation... Avengers
I liked the movie as much as the next guy but I didn't care one bit for the characters and you weren't supposed to. It was just meant to be a fun action movie.
