Ain't It Cool News says Zack Snyder, who directed the Dawn of the Dead remake and is helming 300, is in talks with Warner Bros. to take up the Watchmen movie project.

Darren Aronofsky and Paul Greengrass were previously attached to direct the project when it was at Paramount Pictures.
