We recieved this update from activist Wyatt Barlup this morning...

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be boycotting the Max Payne movie. As you all know, Max Payne is a 20th century Fox property and comes out this friday. I hope you would all join us in the boycott. I will be at my local theater passing out watchmen flyers and trying to inform people about what Fox is doing. Feel free to do this in your respective areas, but at the very least, just don't watch the movie (even though it does look pretty cool & I actually do want to see it, I won't.). I will try to have some more pictures up as soon as possible.

-Thanks for your continued support

Max Payne looks pretty crappy to me. So I wont be seeing it anyway. Quagmire14, sorry you feel that way, you may miss out on a very good creation of a great graphic novel into a movie that may be equally as impressive.

here's what i think

you're all retards if you boycott ANY movie

Companies have had rivalries since the very beginning and just because you favor one company over the other doesn't mean you can't go see BOTH movies.

I don't really care about all this. I'm going to see both Watchmen and Max Payne.

and to Quagmire14, you're a douche. They probably made it pg-13 so they could get the money, but then put out an unrated version on DVD. (think about the future, man)

as for Watchmen, in case you haven't read about it in the previous articles, There's going to be an extended Watchmen movie when it comes out on DVD, that'll put it about at the very least 3 and half hours.

2 hours and 45 minutes is closer to 3 hours than 2, so basically it's a 3 hour movie.

but whatever, I'm seeing both, and that's that.
