There was a lot of buzz surrounding the premiere of Agent Carter, especially with the promise that the first trailer for Ant-Man would accompany it (it did, but not right until the very end). Regardless, reviews have been positive, and fans who watched last night have mostly had nothing but good things to say. Despite all of this, the ratings were just ok. It came in second to NCIS, but did manage to outperform all but the season two premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Carter did a 1.9 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 and 6.7 million viewers overall. These are solid numbers, but are still viewed as "middling" for such a hyped series premiere. Ratings slipped thoughout the night - not significantly, but it does appear as if some young adult viewers lost interest - but the chances of a second season likely won't become clear for a number of weeks. What do you guys think?
