But week by week we saw a steady decline (3.3, 2.9, 2.7, 2.5) until it reached its lowest point with a 2.2 a couple of weeks back. Thor: The Dark World tie-in, as last night's episode, "Repairs", scored an even higher 2.5. What could be causing the resurgence of viewers? Well in terms of overall quality there is no doubt the show has improved, and last night's episode did focus on one of the more popular characters, Ming-Na Wen's Melinda May. Ultimately the more time you spend finding out about characters who can initially come across as slightly annoying can work wonders -- maybe the series has just settled and found its feet. Of course we'll have to wait and see if things continue this way, but it's a small bit of good news for fans.
