Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D had another great live +3 increase when the viewership of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. increased to a total of 7.5 million viewers (+47% - up +2.4 mil from 5.1 mil L+SD) and the rating of adults 18-49 went up to 2.8 (+56% - up +1.0 from 1.8 L+SD). S.H.I.E.L.D also continued the trend of staying ahead of last year's young adult L3 lifts (+56% vs. +48% for the year-ago telecast).
S.H.I.E.L.D. managed to equal the series' 2nd-highest-ever percentage increase for any telecast from Live + Same day to live + 3 Day. S.H.I.E.L.D also more than doubled the playback lift of its CBS drama competition in the hour (56% vs. 26%), which helped S.H.I.E.L.D to close the gap and move up into a virtual tie with NCIS: New Orleans in adults 18-49 (2.8 rating vs. 2.9 rating) in the covered 9pm time slot, after trailing by 5-tenths in the L+SD numbers (1.8 vs. 2.3) last week.
