Channel 4 have today announced that last night's debut of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. debuted to 3.1 million viewers, giving the network their biggest drama launch of 2013. For the UK, that's a whopping 14.2% of the people who were watching television at the time; well above the typical number of viewers they draw in at the time on a weekly basis. Channel 4 added that it, "drew the largest share of 16-34 year olds from 8-9 p.m...with a 27 percent share." This follows the huge number of viewers who tuned in when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aired on ABC in the US on Tuesday.
