When the Netflix Marvel shows were cancelled, we all figured the chances of ever seeing the same actors return as their respective characters were somewhere between slim and none, but all hope may not be lost - for two of 'em, at least.
According to
MCU Cosmic, "someone very important at Marvel Studios" (we're going to go ahead and assume it's Kevin Feige) is a big fan of the small-screen takes on
Jessica Jones and
Daredevil, and may decide to bring Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox back to reprise their role in future Marvel films or TV shows. We know both actors were sorry to leave Miss Jones and The Man Without Fear behind, so if this is accurate, there's every reason to assume they'd jump at the chance to suit-up again.
There's no mention of the likes of Jon Bernthal (Punisher), Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist), however.
This source has had some solid scoops in the past, but they've also shared some inaccurate information, so it's obviously best to treat this as a rumor for the time being. Still, if Feige and co. did decide to revisit these popular street-level crime-fighters, giving the actors who've become synonymous with them over the course of several seasons another go would seem like the smartest move.
What do you guys make of this? Would you like to see Cox and Ritter return as
Daredevil and
Jessica Jones in The MCU?
