Much to the delight of fans, "The Defenders Saga" was added to Disney+ earlier today (you can learn more about that here). Now, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and Defenders are all available to view on the platform, but has the streamer made a foolish mistake?
When you visit Daredevil's landing page to watch one of the show's three seasons, you'll be greeted by a shot of the Man Without Fear...except it's not actually the right Daredevil.
Instead of showing Charlie Cox in the suit, that's Wilson Bethel's Agent Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter wearing the hero's costume. The show's third season revolved around his attempts to frame Matt Murdock as a criminal at the behest of Wilson Fisk, and it appears whoever set this page up didn't realise. Of course, it's also possible Disney+ just felt it was a cool shot from the series (which it is).
Whatever the case may be, fans have been quick to poke fun at the streamer on social media. "The Defenders Saga" has bolstered Disney+'s Marvel content, but these characters are set to step back into the spotlight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the near future, likely starting with Daredevil. While some actors are expected to return, others will probably be recast as time moves on.
As a result, it's probably best not to fret too much about a mistake like this because these shows may not be too important to the futures of the heroes and villains that appeared in them.
