Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple Will Reportedly Return In DAREDEVIL Season 3 And IRON FIST Season 2

Aside from The Punisher, Claire Temple has shown up in every single one of Marvel's Netflix shows. As time has passed, her presence has become harder and harder to buy into but she did help bring The Defenders together and is currently in a romantic relationship with Luke Cage. Now, according to the Tweet below, it sounds like Claire will now be making her return in both Daredevil and Iron Fist

Both shows are currently shooting in New York City so this makes sense but as great as Rosario Dawson is as Claire, you have to hope that her role will be a minor one because it feels like the character is starting to run out of steam. Perhaps she's going to be there to set the stage for The Defenders?

We'll have to wait and see but it's good that there's going to be some connectivity between these shows moving forward, especially if it means other characters will start showing up in each series. After all, it would be pretty awesome for Daredevil and Iron Fist to work together! What do you guys think of Claire's possible return in this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? @TheUnworthyThor - I doubt it will be (at least not for a while). The whole idea of a TV-Avengers doesn't seem to have panned out. I suspect we'll just be seeing the Netflix shows doing organic crossovers and guest spots for the time being.

And in terms of just pure spectacle (which is a goodly portion of what made Avengers so big), it's hard to have four or six characters compete with what CW is doing.

@TheUnworthyThor - I could be wrong, but I am 100% assuming that as long as the solo series continues, the "Defenders" show will continue. Same with films, as long as the MCU keeps making profitable solo and "team-up" films, they will make "Avengers" films.

To get closer to your question, since each of the five solo series after the "Defenders" has either been completed or is filming, I am guessing sometime much later this year they will start filming the second season of the "Punisher" and "Defenders" (unless they either don't have a story they like or they plan to ad another show instead) since they are filming three shows per year now.

I think....i would be happy never seeing her again. They ruined her when she was able to beat up Hand ninjas like it was the easiest thing in the world.

Or maybe that ruined The Hand. Or maybe it ruined both.

I didn’t like where Marvel took the character in Iron Fist and Defenders. Making supporting characters into crime fighters is the exact same problem that the CW shows suffer from, and Claire has no business going anywhere to fight Ninjas. I’m not opposed to the character deciding to learn self defense, but it should be kept sensible. There are other ways to develop a character besides this or making them a love interest. The character of Claire Temple is a nurse, and her value as an asset is to provide support for the core characters with her own hard earned medical skills, not throwing punches. You don’t see Foggy Nelson donning a mask and calling himself “Dougboy”, do you?
