Watch The Epic Final Battle Between Red Suited DAREDEVIL And 'The Kingpin'

That corridor scene was amazing (see it here if you missed it), but even more epic was the final battle between Wilson Fisk and Daredevil as the latter finally donned his iconic red costume. Looking like it was torn straight from the pages of a comic book, hit the jump to rewatch this iconic scene...

“Marvel’s Daredevil” is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.

Well, that's pretty damn awesome, right? Hopefully you didn't watch it before seeing Daredevil on Netflix because it's a huge reveal and a fairly major change in tone for the series when he suits up to take down Wilson Fisk. It works though, and it should be interesting to see where the costume goes from here as it evolves into something a little closer to the comic books (the "DD" logo is obviously a must). What do you think of this scene? As always, share your thoughts below...

As much as Daredevil is awesome... we never really learn the Kingpin's motivation. He keeps saying he wants to make the city a better place but we never learn how he plans on doing that, he has all these gangsters and controls most the city, but we never learn what he's doing with them. In addition, that child from earlier in the season was never explained.

I guess these are factors leading up to the Defenders Mini-series? Otherwise they feel like plot holes :/

Don't like the suit but this is the best action sequence in the season. And yes, I find this to be better than the hallway sequence.

@BatwingDCCU, he chose to play it that way on purpose, he comes off almost as a child which is really interesting...

The final fight was disappointing, my favorite fight scene was in ep. 2 when he was in the hallway.

would have preferred daredevil to be a movie though

@TheMarvelite - it's good but not the best in the series. The fight with Stick and the Hand ninja (with Fisk at the end) were better. Still, it was pretty awesome. Loved the billy club touch.

I love when at the end he just goes full boxer mode and channels Battling Jack, that's such an awesome moment.

The suit sucks, they should have stuck with all black or they should have gave him the all red suit.

Hallway scene was pure bliss. You can see the Oldboy influence but they made it their own, a (seemingly?) continuous take.

@BatwingDCCU You haven't seen Full Metal Jacket? Adventures in Babysitting? Men in Black? The Cell? Law and Order: Criminal Intent? He has an amazing range. His halting style for Fisk was a character choice and not his overall style at all. He's intense and immensely gifted in my opinion.

@Scarilian

The 'Black Sky' child is definitely a loose thread meant to be revealed down the line. I think it may even be revealed in Iron Fist before The Defenders.

As to Fisk's motivation; I don't think it was too fleshed out in just how he planned on cleaning up "his" city since, but Kingpin is certainly still one of MCU's more fleshed out characters and not just a villain.

@BatwingDCCU, i think that the he knows that gloves are off now and he'll go full Kingpin next time, it was almost his origin story as was Matt's. I agree with the fight though while it was pretty sweet it felt a little not so awesome as the some of the other fights and i imagine the reason for that is that they had to have VIncent do all of his fighting because there aren't any stuntman that look like that.

If you make a drinking game of how many times they say the word "City" in the entire series I hear you will die of alcohol poisoning pretty quick.

@raventhehunter If you are looking to purchase a Daredevil collection I would go with Born Again or Man Without Fear both are by Frank Miller and are considered to be among his best work period, on par with TDKR and Batman year one.
