Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) was introduced in the Disney+ Hawkeye series as Clint Barton's (Jeremy Renner) protégé, and quickly established herself as a fan-favorite character who would (most likely) take up the mantle of the Avengers' resident archer down the line.
We haven't seen Kate since the Hawkeye season finale when she helped Barton to put an end to the machinations of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and the Tracksuit Mafia, but we knew she'd be back in action before too long, and it sounds like Marvel Studios has some big plans for the character over the next few years.
Possible spoilers from this point on.
We recently reported on a (rumored) post-credits scene for The Marvels, which supposedly sees Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) dropping in on Bishop to propose a team-up (likely laying the groundwork for the Young Avengers), but that could just be the tip of the iceberg.
According to Daniel Richtman (via Patreon), Kate will indeed feature in a Young Avengers project (we don't know if it'll be a movie or TV series), as well as Avengers: Secret Wars and a second season of Hawkeye.
The Young Avengers direction has proven to be somewhat divisive, since many expected Bishop to simply take over as Hawkeye in the main team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. While that may still happen someday, it seems Marvel is planning to give these younger crime-fighters a test-run first.
