We heard from Hailee Steinfeld earlier today, and now the real star of Marvel's Hawkeye has taken to social media to celebrate the first two episodes hitting Disney+... and her fourth birthday!
Jolt plays Lucky the Pizza Dog on the MCU-set series, and while her character is a very good boy, the adorable golden retriever is actually female. The pooch's proud owners shared a photo of the birthday girl sitting in front of a Hawkeye poster with a toy bow and arrow in her mouth, along with another shot of her pizza-shaped cake.
"Two important things happened on today's date: 1. Me! (Four years ago!) 2. HawkFREAKINGeye! #luckiestdogalive," reads the caption.
In the comics, Lucky was originally named Arrow, and belonged to the Tracksuit Mafia. After he came to Clint Barton's aid, the gangsters badly beat him (causing him to lose sight in one eye) and left him for dead. Hawkeye rescued the hound, and he went on to become a loyal companion to the archer and his protege Kate Bishop.
Understandably, the show appears to have skipped over this part of the story by introducing Lucky after his encounter with the Draculas, but there's a chance we will revisit his time with the criminal gang via flashback.
Have you guys watched the first two episodes of Hawkeye yet? If so, what did you think? Let us know in the usual place.
