So a month ago came the news that Inhumans was removed from the Disney schedule, which led to speculation that the project was dead, mainly because of the spilt between Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment. but in a podcast with Empire Film, Kevin Feige confirmed that the movie is still in the cards. but its not part of Phase Three anymore.

"The only situation right now is that [Inhumans] is not gonna be a part of phase three because phase three increased in a very good way since we initially announced," Feige tells Empire Film. "When and where and how it pops up remains to be seen but its characters we love, it a storyline we love and we just didn’t want to cram it in to an already quite full phase three."

So there you go, whatever you like the Inhumans or not, it seems the project is still going to happen in the near future, since Marvel Studios have scheduled 3 release dates for untitled films in 2020, could the movie end up in 2020?, time will tell.

Perfect! I want to see them, but it is far down the line. Just odn't ignore what AOS has done with inhumans in the film.

@malsemarcel - and what about that marvel split? I did miss that part. Anyone bother to explain it to me?

I could've told you guys that. It was obvious they were just moving it to Phase 4. Feige has talked about Inhumans countless times before the movie was announced, he clearly likes the characters, and no, they're not an X-Men ripoff, that's just incredibly stupid to say.

I think Feige talking about Vin Diesel being (probably) Black Bolt suggests that he was never against the project. And he's doing what he should: plan the MCU out to be as long and successful a run as possible. If the Phase 1 protagonists are eager to sign new contracts and the audience wants to see them, then it's best to put off big new storylines and contexts for another day.

I think the "Inhumans are like Marvel's X-Men" probably came from Perlmutter's side, and we see the TV side eager to jump into it as a way to facilitate the monster-of-the-week format. Outside that, though, I don't think there's evidence that Feige has an axe to grind about it.

I'd prefer an Inhuman's movie over a Captain Marvel movie (unless it was the original Captain Marvel).

Way cool im down as long as they build up the royal family through AOS and haveba really cool final scene of them on Earth before the film. Also like to see the framework laid out on AOS to actually be integral to the show for once. Infinity War is coming so maybe theyll pull out all the stops.

I think Inhumans will probably pop up in the beginning or middle of phase four to launch this new franchise and have it las as long as possible because of how rich the Inhumans history is.

It seems like they are bringing out the worst news at the moment;
- Agent Carter cancelled (Left on cliffhanger)
- Inhumans still happening (Agents Of Shield ruined them completely)
- Jessica Jones focusing on side characters (Only interesting characters were Jessica, Luke Cage and Purple Man)

Yeah, i've no doubt we'll see a movie for Inhumans. But i'm curious if any of the Inhumans will be fighting Thanos in Infinity War.

Sounds like the Inhumans are left for television to expand on. I think an Inhumans movie is pretty much kaput.
