I'm guessing we'll get a Devil of Hell's Kitchen name drop. I'm not counting on an actual appearance, but if there is one, we'll all squeal.

I was just on comixology buying this week's stuff. A lot of good stuff out today. Marvel has some weird timing going on. I bought the All New All Different Marvel Point One book that shows the aftermath of Secret Wars 8 months after the event, but then I also bought issue 6 of 8 of Secret Wars today.

I have a feeling that after Secret Wars is wrapped up and ANAD Marvel is in full-swing they're going to jack prices up from $3.99 to $4.99.

Read it and daredevil makes an appearance indeed. Hopefully he cameos in the show...if the comic is directly connected to the show, then the suit is still black and red, but there's more red this time. His suit in the comic is slightly new.

Not all red like this but there's less black though

It pains me that your shitty Chargers will probably win on Monday because we have to rely on Vick. Just remember that the Chargers passed on Roethlisberger in the 2004 draft. Instead they took Eli who refused to play for that garbage franchise.

It doesn't even look like Krysten Ritter though. They only made her hair darker.

I find it offensive that Jessica is still a height/weight proportionate white woman in 2015, and not a fat black man.

It isn't the same thing here.

This comics is in the mcu, prequel to the show on netflix.

Turk Barret, Daredevil and yep, that was Claire Temple in there. I like the world building. I'm liking the wit that is written in. Looks like we might see a little bit of B in Apartment 23 with this Jessica Jones.

@GUSTO I agree. The source material shouldn't have to pander to the medium that is the flavor of the week. That's how you get bland contrived stories.

I think it's just for promotional purpose, but yeah, not a fan.

@Gusto well, this is a direct tie-in to the series, and Jessica Jones doesn't have a consistent look since the end of the Alias MAX run, it's not like seeing Xavier looking like Patrick Stewart in a regular Marvel Universe comic book.

That's some cool marketing. But I never count so called MCU comics as canon.

@ComicsBornAndBred

Assuming that is the costume they go with for season 2, does it at least look appealing? Like, do you think it will translate well to screen or at least look better than the last one. Also, even if this is canon, Jessica Jones will probably take place some time before season 2 of DD, allowing him to get an upgrade in between but we'll see. Thank you, in advance.

@ScarletWarlock I think it takes place either during season 2 or slightly after. I think it will translate fine. More red and it fits into the shadows nice.. at least how it's drawn here. The red eyes in the shadows can be a very cool look

Okay, I just read it and it indeed looks cool, very similar to the poster but with some black seems, but I hope eventually, at least for defenders, it is completely read with no screws, no unnecessary details and the two D's for maximum Superheroness, I just read Marvel knights recently in the ultimate Universe and the costume being blood red it just looks so beautiful, the ny comic con poster reminded me of it so much. I wonder if we'll ever see the Jewel costume....or something similar.

it is the same guy. yes at the end of the season he was caught by the fbi but we dont know what happened after that. perhaps he made a deal of some kind. daredevil even asks him how he keeps getting released after everything he has done

I just read this on MU. It's alright I guess. It didn't really feel like an Alias Comic. Then again, 12 pages compared to the 29 issue Omnibus I just read last week. Plus this is a setup for the show. Are we going to get a DD cameo? That would be nice.
