As per usual, Marvel Studios has released a new batch of stills from last week's episode of Loki, and these highlight a number of key moments from "The Nexus Event."

Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie initially takes centre stage before we move on to the God of Mischief's surprise clash with the returning Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif. However, it's the chamber the Time-Keepers call home that receives the biggest share of the spotlight, though we're still waiting on answers after that big android reveal (fingers crossed they're coming tomorrow).

Talking to CBR, Loki Head Writer commented on the mid-credits scene that introduced us to more Loki Variants. "The next episode, obviously, we might be seeing more of those guys," he teased. "You know, I think it was drawing inspiration from the comics, certainly. You can see a young whippersnapper Loki there that folks will recognize from the comics. I loved the idea of seeing him."

"Richard E. Grant in the slime green outfit, that's an ode to the original Loki costume," Waldron continued. "So it was just trying to pick some of the iconic versions, as well as an alligator."

As for what led to Grant donning that comic accurate costume, he added: "That's a testament to our director Kate Herron, who managed to convince a lot of incredible actors to do crazy things in this show. Christine Wada, our costume designer, made this amazing, comics-accurate suit for him to wear. Richard E. Grant -- he's a rascal. He was used game to do it. So what a delight!"

I wonder why the fight sequence was so bad in this episode. The choreography was slightly impressive in the previous episode so I thought it'd get better from there but nah.

"He was used game to do it"

Huh????

I really loved this episode. The musical score was stand-out.
