Genndy Tartakovsky is the one behind your childhood; Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Clone Wars and etc. This man knows his stuff when it comes to making cartoons, but with this piece he dipped himself into the world of Luke Cage, who's Netflix series premieres in September.

It seems as though eight years ago, Tartakovsky pitched a self aware and more satirical Luke Cage comic for Marvel and began working on it. The project was put on hold, presumably because he was pitching a bloodier Samurai Jack show to Adult Swim. Rather than going with the blaxplotatian roots of the character, he went with a much more satirical Luke. Here's the cover:

What do you think? Should a comic like this be written by a man like Genndy? Well, some people are pissed, nontheless. Share your comments below, mates.

Luke Gage is expected to drop all episodes on September 30th, 2016.
