The first episode of Moon Knight introduced us to Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee who was horrified to learn that he shares his body with a mysterious American and the Egyptian Moon God Khonshu. With his life turned upside down, poor Steven found himself being pursued through the museum by a Jackal before handing control over to Marc Spector and Moon Knight.
Marvel Studios continues to drop quirky posters for the show, with the latest putting the spotlight on Steven's nametag. Previous efforts have included a cupcake and the Brit's beloved goldfish.
Time will tell whether these posters have any real significance, but they are getting fans talking.
In the comic books, Steven was created by Marc as a child due to his dissociative identity disorder. Later, Steven would become a film producer, with his riches often funding the vigilante's missions (he also proved a perfect cover for the former mercenary). The MCU is clearly taking things in a different direction, and there's still no sign of Jake Lockley, a personality portrayed as a cabbie.
We awarded the first four episodes 4* in our review of the series, concluding by saying, "Oscar Isaac puts Moon Knight on the map in Marvel Studios' most daring TV show yet, ushering in an unmissable new era of storytelling in a series that, if it sticks the landing, could go down as a classic."
