SECRET INVASION Delivers Another Shocking Ending As Nick Fury And Talos Race To Save The World - SPOILERS

Secret Invasion delivered another shocking ending in today's episode, with the apparent death of a fan-favourite character. Find out how things played out during the closing moments of "Beloved" here!

Gravik is determined to unleash World War III on Earth, all in an effort to wipe out humanity and create a new home for the Skrulls.

In today's episode of Secret Invasion, the shape-shifter and his team pose as Russians and attack U.S. President Ritson. It's a smart way to pit the Americans and Russians against one another, but Nick Fury and Talos are thankfully there to intervene.

The latter is shot by one of Gravik's men, but still manages to pull the President from his vehicle and helps Fury get him to safety. However, the British soldier helping the wounded Talos is, in fact, Gravik, and he proceeds to brutally stab the heroic Skrull.

Talos falls to the ground, seemingly dead, and Fury puts a bullet into Gravik's chest and head. Alas, he brushes off those wounds with ease thanks to the healing properties of Extremis and makes his escape.

Fury has no other choice than to leave Talos behind, taking the President to safety.

So, is Talos really gone?

After the stunt Secret Invasion pulled with Gi'ah, we can't imagine this is yet another fake-out (if so, it will completely devalue the meaning of death in the show) and the heroic Skrull is almost certainly dead. The trailers showed Gi'ah mourning a fallen friend and, looking at her surroundings, we now know it's her father.

Given the way things ended between them at the start of "Beloved," this is going to hit her hard but likely means she'll be more determined than ever to put an end to Gravik's invasion of Earth.

Ben Mendelsohn first played Talos in Captain Marvel and later reprised the role in Spider-Man: Far From Home's post-credits scene when we learned he'd been posing as Nick Fury. There's been no word on him appearing in The Marvels, so chances are Secret Invasion is where his story ends.

@Floke - There is, which begs the question on how these Skrulls actually think they’re going to take the Earth for themselves. Extremis isn’t stopping the Asgardians.

The Marvel Studios bias accusations against this site are true. There have been three God damn articles in the last three hours alone on one episode, and the same mothafukcin thing happened last week. You can't put all this shit into one article?

Variety does it. Hollywood Reporter does it. Legitimate news sites do it. They love clicks too. They love money. But they ain't this desperate. And I took a break from just watching the third episode of this show to type this so spare me any inaccurate "Snyder fan" bullshit accusations.

This overkill of articles is no novel, unique phenomenon reserved for Marvel Studios.

@videovac - dude it's not a marvel studios bias, it's 100% Josh making any excuse to put out 10x more articles than he needs to.

He does it about everything, including the flash, & all of the infamous lists he puts out all the time.

These MCU Skrulls aren't even UGLY. Jack Kirby knew how to make 'em ugly.

Wow the choreography/writing on that action scene was bad. People jumping between battle lines, gravik not succeeding bc of some guys w guns (and pls dont tell me theyre trying to let the president live, absolutely no way him living would lead to war faster) etc
