She-Hulk is set to arrive on Disney+ in 2022, and after previously denying that she's been cast as Jennifer Walters, Tatiana Maslany was confirmed as the show's lead during Disney's Investor Day.
Now, the Orphan Black star has taken to Instagram to celebrate the news, saying: "It’s offishulk!!!! Beyond excited to be Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk for [Disney+] [and] [Marvel Studios]."
Something that really has fans talking, however, is the fact that Maslany later liked a post on Instagram showing Jennifer and Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock working side-by-side. While this is certainly not confirmation that we'll see the Daredevil star in She-Hulk, this could bode well for it happening.
She-Hulk, a new comedy series coming to Disney+, stars Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. She-Hulk welcomes a host of Marvel characters to the series, including the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Abomination, played by The Incredible Hulk star Tim Roth.
The series is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia; Jessica Gao is head writer.
She-Hulk is shaping up to be one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most exciting upcoming projects, and it's great to see how excited Maslany is to play the character.
