We had heard that Season 3 of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy was scheduled to begin shooting in Toronto in early 2021, and star Elliot Page (Vanya) has now officially announced that cameras are rolling.
Page, who confirmed that he will continue to play Vanya Hargreeves despite coming out as transgender last December, shared an Instagram post with the caption "Omg we're back again," giving us a look at an updated logo for the Sparrow Academy.
Check out Page's post below.
The season 2 finale (you can check out our review HERE) saw the gang successfully save the world (again) from armageddon, but when they returned to their own timeline, they found themselves in an alternate reality with the "Sparrow Academy" seemingly led by the now very much alive Ben Hargreeves.
Netflix recently announced the Season 3 cast additions who'll play the members of what has now been confirmed to be an "evil" incarnation of the team.
The Umbrella Academy season 3 will consist of 10 episodes, with main cast members Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore all set to return. Steve Blackman is also back on board as showrunner.
